Beating the Heat

We've had a rather hot summer, and shortly after Mom, Dad and Ashley returned to Texas, our air conditioning went on the fritz. Of course, the heat wave seemed to boost into overdrive as soon as the A/C died, so we were left to our own devices to keep cool. We all soon migrated back downstairs to cooler climes. On a shopping trip, I was very easily swayed to make the $10 purchase of a Slip 'N Slide for Annie (really, it was for Annie, I swear.)



She wasn't so good as sliding on it, but she did enjoy the lovely sprinkly water coming out. When it's 102 degrees outside, and only a little cooler inside, sprinkly water is just what the Dr. ordered.
